Manhunt launched vs 4 detainees who bolted QC police jail

MANILA, Philippines — Police on Thursday deployed tracker teams to go after four suspects who escaped a detention facility at the Galas police station in Quezon City.

In a statement, Quezon City Police District director Police Brigadier General Danilo Macerin identified the escapees as Glenn Louie Limin, who is facing drug charges; Marvin Inciong, who has an arrest warrant for robbery; Joel Sanchez, who has robbery hold-up charges; and Ronald Buenafe, who is also facing a drug case.

In the same statement, Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police General Debold Sinas cautioned police tracker teams when engaging with the suspects, who are “threats to the community.”

“The fact that these offenders escaped detention only shows they would rather continue to defy the law instead of submitting themselves to the jurisdiction of the justice system. As such, they may be considered dangerous and a threat to the community,” Sinas said.

“Tracker teams are advised to approach these persons with caution and not to give them any opportunity to make the first move,” he added.

Police, however, did not explain how the suspects bolted from the custodial facility in Quezon City.
