BAGUIO CITY — A 3.3-magnitude earthquake jolted La Union province on Sunday afternoon, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
In its earthquake bulletin, Phivolcs said the earthquake struck 6 kilometers northwest of Burgos town at 3:25 p.m.
It was also felt in this city and nearby areas.
Phivolcs said the quake had a 15-km depth and was tectonic in origin. No damage was reported.
