Boy dies, 2 missing in CamSur boat accidents

LEGAZPI CITY, Albay, Philippines — A 3-year-old boy died while two others went missing in two separate boat accidents in Camarines Sur on New Year’s Day.

Gremil Alexis Naz, spokesperson of the Office of Civil Defense in Bicol, told the Inquirer the boy was on board a boat with his family when the vessel capsized off the coast of Sitio Budal, Mangayawan village, in Canaman town.

The two missing individuals, who were still unidentified, were reported to be from the village of Sumaoy in Garchitorena town who disappeared in the sea off the town.
