Woman allegedly tried to kill husband using eye drops, gets arrested

A woman has been arrested after she allegedly attempted to kill her husband by making him ingest eye drops over a span of a few days in Arkansas in the United States.

Tina Glasco, 56, was heard in an audio recording making threats against her husband, saying that she had been using Visine eyedrops against him “with the purpose to cause serious physical injury and death,” according to a Paragould police affidavit as cited by KAIT on Dec. 31.

“In the recording, Tina stated she had been putting a large amount of Visine drops in her husband’s drinks for over four days,” the affidavit read.

Glasco was arrested on Dec. 30 following the police investigation. She is currently facing a first-degree attempted murder charge and a conduct constituting attempt charge as well.
