“Ang amihan or northeast monsoon ay naapektuhan ang malaking bahagi ng Luzon kaya nakakaranas po tayo ng malamig na simoy ng hangin lalong-lalo na po sa umaga,”  Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.

(The amihan or northeast monsoon is affecting a large part of Luzon, hence, a cool breeze is expected, especially in the morning.).

The” amihan”, Aurelio added, will also bring cloudy skies with rains to Quezon, Marinduque, Romblon, Oriental Mindoro, and Kalayaan Islands.

Cloudy skies with light rains are also expected over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora also due to the amihan.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers are forecast inMetro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

Meanwhile, the tail-end of frontal system, as well as the easterlies, will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to the Bicol region, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Caraga, Davao region, and Northern Mindanao.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
