Prices of diesel, gasoline up

Local pump prices of diesel rose for the sixth week in a row, this time at 60 centavos per liter, for a total of P4.15 per liter, as crude oil prices continue an uptrend amid optimism based on news of progress related to vaccines for COVID-19. Local oil companies also raised prices of gasoline by 50 centavos per liter. Petron, Seaoil, Total and PTT announced changes effective 6 a.m. of Dec. 15. Cleanfuel changes prices at 4:01 p.m. Petron and Seaoil will also raise prices of kerosene by 55 centavos per liter, except in areas under a state of calamity. —RONNEL W. DOMINGO
