PNP COVID-19 cases reach 8,559
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) recorded on Saturday 54 new COVID-19 cases, bringing its total 8,559, according to a post on its Facebook page.
Most of the new cases — 13 of them — were in the National Capital Region Police Office.

Also, 478 out of 8,559 were considered active cases.
As of Saturday, the PNP had 46 more recoveries, bringing its total recoveries to 8,054.
No new deaths were recorded, with the death toll remaining at 27.
