Duterte names Vince Dizon as OIC of Clark body
CLARK FREEPORT –– President Rodrigo Duterte has designated Vivencio Dizon as officer-in-charge of the Office of the Chairperson of the Clark Development Corp. (CDC).
This was Dizon’s latest task on top of being the president and chief executive officer of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority, presidential adviser on Flagship Programs and Projects, and National Action Plan deputy chief implementer and testing czar.
A Dec. 3 memorandum from Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea announced Dizon’s new work.
He is scheduled to meet the CDC board of directors on Thursday.
Former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, who was appointed last Nov. 24 as Presidential Adviser on Clark Program and Projects, is set to attend the same meeting.
The recent chairman, Jose de Jesus, resigned and returned to the private sector.
Mr. Duterte has yet to appoint a new president for the CDC after the resignation of Noel Manankil in October to take care of his mother.
