BACOLOD CITY — A Negros Occidental hospital that was closed during the weekend after its personnel were exposed to an OB patient from Pulupandan who tested positive for COVID-19 has resumed operations on Monday, December 7.
Bago City Hospital’s obstetrics (OB) department, however, remained off-limits, said Dr. Allan Abayon, the hospital’s chief.
Swab tests of the OB Department staff are scheduled on Wednesday, December 9.
“If they all test negative, the OB section will reopen on Thursday,” Abayon said.
Bago City currently has 341 COVID-19 cases, including 19 active cases, 14 deaths, and 308 recoveries.
