Cops bust 2 alleged drug pushers in Lucena
LUCENA CITY – Police arrested two suspected drug pushers here Monday morning.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, in a report identified the arrested suspects as Charles Nuñez, 36, and Noli Guevarra, 40.
Anti-narcotics operatives collared Guevarra after he sold a pack of shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer in a drug deal in Barangay (village) Ibabang Iyam around 9:30 a.m.
Guevarra, who is included in the list of identified drug pushers in the city, yielded six sachets of shabu.
Nuñez was arrested in a sting operation in another part of the village an hour earlier.
Authorities seized four sachets of shabu from the suspect who had a previous drug case in neighboring Sariaya town
