MANILA, Philippines — Eleven more Filipinos abroad have tested positive for the new coronavirus, bringing the total overseas tally to 11,676, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Sunday.
Currently, there are 3,334 patients still undergoing treatment, it added. The DFA also reported that total recoveries remain at 7,497.
Nine new fatalities were reported among Filipinos overseas, raising the death toll to 845. To date, the total number of countries and territories with confirmed cases among Filipinos remains at 82, the DFA said.
