LUCENA CITY – Police arrested two drug suspects in Candelaria and Lucban towns in Quezon province over the weekend. The Quezon police’s Public Information Office reported that anti-narcotics agents collared Maxleen Palines, 55, after he sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover agent in Barangay  4 in Lucban town at around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. The suspect yielded four sachets of meth. In Candelaria, police nabbed Pedro Legion, 46, in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sta. Catalina Norte around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Authorities seized three sachets of shabu from the suspect. Police said reformed drug users tipped off the authorities on the illegal activities of the suspects in their respective villages. The suspects will face a complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
