4 De La Salle professors are world’s top researchers

Four De La Salle University (DLSU) professors were named among the top 2 percent researchers in the world according to Stanford University. There are only 26 Philippine-based researchers out of 160,000 named by a team led by Stanford University statistician John Ionnidis, DLSU said. Named top researchers were Dr. Raymond Tan, vice chancellor for research and innovation; Dr. Allan B.I. Bernardo of the Faculty of Psychology Department, a distinguished professor; Dr. Kathleen Aviso, professor of chemical engineering; and Dr. Aaron Don Africa, professor of electronics and communications engineering. The citation was based on scientific impact and performance of the researchers in 2019. —Jodee A. Agoncillo
