3 ‘big-time’ drug suspects nabbed in Nueva Ecija; P1.1M ‘shabu’ seized

GAPAN CITY –– Three alleged big-time illegal drug traders in Nueva Ecija province were arrested in two separate operations on Thursday that yielded P1.1 million worth of “shabu” (crystal meth), police said.

Police identified the suspects as Cedrick James Galang, 31; Janina Roan Perez, 19; and Tadeo Mancao, 46.

Pol. Col. Marvin Joe Saro, Nueva Ecija police director, said Galang and Perez, who was reportedly pregnant, were arrested in Barangay San Vicente here at 7:10 p.m.

Galang was caught with 33 sachets of shabu weighing over 160 grams worth about P1,122,000.

Mancao, on the other hand, was arrested about 3 p.m. that day and yielded P1,500 worth of shabu.
