MANILA, Philippines — Customers of Maynilad Water Services Inc. may expect an emergency service interruption starting Tuesday evening as the water concessionaire reduces production due to poor raw water quality from the Ipo Dam.

“Increased turbidity in the raw water from Ipo Dam has constrained us to reduce water production in our treatment plants,” Maynilad said in an advisory.

“As a result, some of our customers may experience low water pressure to no water,” it added.
