College student, 2 others fall in Quezon drug stings
LUCENA CITY – Police arrested a college student and two other drug suspects in separate operations in Quezon province over the weekend.
The Quezon police reported that Jerniel Morillo, a college student, was arrested after he sold a pack of marijuana to an undercover police officer in Barangay Tongko, Tayabas City at around 12:50 a.m. Sunday.
In Lucena City, police operatives busted Axl Rudolf Mapacpac after he also sold a pack of marijuana to a police agent in Barangay Ibabang Dupay around 10:20 p.m. Saturday.
The suspect yielded three plastic packs of marijuana.
Earlier that day, police nabbed Ruben Malabanan Jr. in another buy-bust operation in Barangay Sampaloc 2 in Sariaya town.
Police seized three plastic sachets of shabu from the suspect.
