WATCH: Residents of Provident village evacuate as Ulysses lashes Marikina

MANILA, Philippines — As Typhoon Ulysses drenched Marikina on Thursday, residents of Provident village evacuated as floodwater started to rise.

In a video by Radyo INQUIRER, residents could be seen wading through waist-deep floodwaters.

Authorities have also rescued several residents from the village, using boats and trucks.
