457 Luzon-bound passengers stranded in Northern Samar seaports due to ‘Ulysses’

TACLOBAN CITY –– At least 457 passengers bound for Luzon were stranded in three seaports in Allen town, Northern Samar due to Tropical Storm “Ulysses.”

The Philippine Coast Guard reported that the stranded passengers were in the ports of Balwharteco with 71 passengers; Sta.Clara,306; and Dapdap, 80.

These passengers were on board 116 rolling cargo trucks and 60 light vehicles.

At least four vessels are also taking shelter, the Coast Guard said on its report.
