No MRT-3 operations on Nov. 14 – 15, 28 – 30 for repairs

MANILA, Philippines — The Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) will temporarily shut down operations on November 14 and 15, and 28 to 30 to give way to maintenance and repair works.

“Magpapatuloy ang scheduled weekend shutdown ng MRT-3 sa darating na ika-14 hanggang ika-15, at ika-28 hanggang ika-30 ng Nobyembre 2020, bilang bahagi ng massive rehabilitation and maintenance na isinasagawa sa buong linya ng MRT-3 ng Sumitomo-Mitsubishi Heavy Industries mula sa bansang Hapon,” the MRT-3 management said in an advisory on Monday.

(The scheduled weekend shutdown of MRT-3 will continue on November 14 and 15 and 28 to 30, as part of the massive rehabilitation and maintenance being conducted by its maintenance provider Sumitomo-Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.)

MRT-3’s weekend shutdown was initially scheduled from October 31 to November 2 but was suspended due to Super Typhoon Rolly.
