Duterte to face suspended Bureau of Immigration officers next week
MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte will face next week the Bureau of Immigration (BI) officers who had been suspended by the Office of the Ombudsman for alleged corruption.
“Iyong mga nasuspendido na mga taga-Bureau of Immigration ay kaniyang haharapin sa darating na Lunes at kaniyang kakausapin,” Duterte’s former aide and now Senator Christopher “Bong” Go said in a recent interview in Sta. Mesa, Manila.
(The President will face the suspended Bureau of Immigration officers on Monday. He will talk to them.)
The Ombudsman earlier ordered the preventive suspension of the BI officials in connection with the so-called “Pastillas scheme,” which has rocked the agency.
Go, however, did not provide further details of the scheduled meeting.

(You know, that will continue, the President will name them this month and next month, whenever someone will be sued or suspended by the Ombudsman.)
“Papangalanan niya po ito sa publiko para malaman po ng mga Pilipino kung sino ‘yung may mga kaso,” he added.
(He will name them in public so the people will know those who are facing charges.)
Duterte earlier created a mega task force led by the Department of Justice, which will investigate corruption in all government agencies.
