House logs 87th COVID-19 case

MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives has recorded its 87th case of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The infected employee, who works in the lower chamber’s finance department, went to work on Oct. 12, 13 19, and 20 before beginning to experience a cold with fever on Oct. 21.

The employee was tested on Oct. 28, with the RT-PCR test showing a positive result.

The House said the employee was still symptomatic and under isolation at home while contact tracing had already started.
