In a statement, BJMP chief Jail Director Allan Iral said jail personnel in all regions were alerted to ensure the safety of detainees and secure the jail facilities from violent winds and intense rains.
“We issued a series of advisories ahead to our field units to prepare for Typhoon Rolly,” Iral said.
“The National Headquarters set up 24/7 monitoring teams to monitor our units and facilities on the ground,” he added.
