Cops nab 5 ‘notorious’ drug pushers in Lucena
LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested five alleged notorious drug pushers in a series of buy-bust operations in this city on Wednesday and Thursday.
Lieutenant Colonel Romulo Albacea, Lucena City police chief, said anti-narcotics agents collared Niel Igloria after he sold P500 worth of shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer in Barangay Ibabang Iyam around 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
Authorities seized 10 plastic sachets of shabu from Igloria.
Earlier, policemen also busted Joseph Ramos in a sting operation in another part of the village at 7:10 a.m. He yielded seven plastic sachets of meth.
On Wednesday morning, anti-illegal drug operatives arrested May Morales, Rommel Lancion, and Garry Macvey-hally in two separate buy-bust operations in Barangay 4.
Authorities confiscated from Morales and Lancion 15 plastic sachets of meth. Both have previous drug cases.

The suspects were detained at the city police jail and are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
