MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday night visited the grave of his parents in his hometown Davao City ahead of the nation’s observation of All Saints’ Day and All Souls Day next week.
Duterte visited the final resting place of his parents Vicente and Soledad Duterte at the Roman Catholic public cemetery in Davao City at 6 p.m., his former aide-turned-Senator Bong Go said in a message to reporters.

From October 29 up to November 4, all private and public cemeteries will be closed and bar visitors to prevent people from crowding in light of the persistent threats of SARS-CoV-2, the latest strain of coronavirus that causes the potentially deadly COVID-19.
