Alleged cannibals arrested for performing illegal castration
Two men have been accused of performing castration without a medical license and trying to get a victim to “participate in cannibalism” in Oklahoma, United States.
Bob Lee Allen, 53, and Thomas Evans Gates, 42, were arrested on Oct. 15 after they tried to visit their 28-year-old victim, whose name was withheld, at a hospital in McAlester, as per The Oklahoman earlier today, Oct. 22.
The duo reportedly took the victim to a cabin for the surgery, a Le Flore County sheriff’s deputy’s court affidavit stated. The victim found out about Allen’s services through a website after searching about castration.
The website, www.the-em.com, requires registration and greets people with a welcome note “from theEunuchMaker and the EM Crew,” according to the report.
The victim stated that Allen claimed to have 15 years of experience in doing operations and records videos of these “for personal use.” He also said that Allen claimed the surgery to be free of charge.

“It is borderline some type of activity… We know there’s a lot of rumors out there but at this time there’s no danger to the public,” he added.
In the affidavit, the victim also stated that Allen said he was going to eat the parts removed and claimed he was a cannibal and laughed. Allen also disclosed that he had hidden body parts on a freezer, which he took pictures of and showed to the victim.
When investigators searched the cabin on Oct. 15, they indeed found a plastic bag “with what appeared to be testicles” inside a freezer.
When the victim suffered from bleeding the day after the surgery, Allen took him to the hospital and told him that he should state that “he done it to himself.” Allen also told the victim that if he passes out or dies, he would dump his body in the woods.
Allen and Gates have since been charged with felony counts of conspiracy to commit unlicensed surgery, performing unlicensed surgery, maiming, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
For the failure to bury the removed parts, the two are also facing a misdemeanor count. The two also face one felony and two misdemeanor drug-related counts based on the search of their residence, the report said. The bail for each has been set at $295,000 (over P1.4 million). Ian Biong/JB
