5 grams of meth seized from suspect in Legazpi City
LEGAZPI CITY—Police arrested a drug suspect at a coastal village here on Tuesday (Oct. 20) during a buy-bust operation.
Lt. Col. Rodelon Betita, Legazpi City police chief, said suspect Francis Almayda sold crystal meth, or shabu, to an undercover agent at the village of Rawis.
Betita said Almayda was third on the list of top drug suspects at the village of Sabang.
Seized from Almayda was some 5 grams of meth worth at least P3,000 on the streets and P16,000 in marked money.
Almayda is in a police jail and faces drug charges.
