6 nabbed in Bicol, Masbate drug busts

LEGAZPI CITY –– Six suspected drug dealers listed by the police as high-value targets (HVT) were busted on Tuesday in separate drug stings in the Bicol provinces of Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay and Sorsogon and in Masbate, a police report said.

The drug operation yielded 10 sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth), according to Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson.

In Paracale, a mining town in Camarines Norte, Celmar Yaba, 28, of Barangay Gumaus was caught selling two sachets of shabu during a drug operation at 1:05 p.m.

In Aroroy, also a mining town in Masbate, Remjun Gracio, 38, was caught in possession of two sachets of shabu during a drug buy-bust around 1:30 p.m. in his home village of Puro.

In Pamplona, Camarines Sur, Venner Lustre, 38, of Barangay Burabod, was caught after selling a sachet of shabu at 1:50 p.m to an undercover agent.

In Oas, Albay, Ariel Bermeo, 56, of Barangay Rizal was arrested around 2:30 p.m in Barangay Ilaor with three sachets of shabu.

In Malinao, Albay, Jose Rico Borlagdan alias Corex, was arrested and yielded one sachet of shabu and P3,000 worth of marked money in Barangay Estancia at 4:10 p.m.

In Sorsogon City, Rommel Millano aka Shuba, 30, a lending collector of Barangay Piot was caught selling a sachet of shabu during a drug sting at 6:15 p.m in Sampaguita Village, Barangay San Juan Roro.
