Driver who fled crash with pedestrian dies after getting into another crash

A driver who fled after crashing into a pedestrian died after getting into another crash in the city of Las Vegas in Nevada, USA.

The driver, who was not identified, was said to have been driving a Chevrolet SUV and crashed into a pedestrian at around 11 p.m. last Sunday, Sept. 20, as per CBS affiliate KLAS on Sept. 21.

Metro Police said the driver then left the scene and ran a red light, resulting in a crash once again involving two other vehicles shortly after.

The driver was then taken to a hospital where he was confirmed dead, according to the report.

Information on the pedestrian who was struck was, meanwhile, not disclosed. Ian Biong /ra
