Most parts of PH to have hot, humid weather — Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — Most parts of the country will have hot and humid weather on Wednesday with chances of afternoon rainshowers, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
State weather bureau specialist Meno Mendoza said the easterlies or warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean will affect the weather in Luzon.
“Ang nakakaapekto sa ngayon ay ‘yung easterlies at ito po ay nakakaapekto ngayon dito sa Luzon kaya asahan po natin na patuloy nating mararamdaman ang mainit at maalinsangang panahon sa halos buong kapuluan,” he said in a 4 a.m. weather forecast.
(The easterlies are affecting the weather in Luzon so we can expect hot and humid weather in almost the entire region.)
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with afternoon rainshowers is also expected in Luzon, according to Mendoza.
Meanwhile, Visayas will have fair weather although localized thunderstorms may bring rainshowers.
“Sa Kabisayaan patuloy pa ring mararanasan ang maaliwalas na panahon subalit posible pa rin ang pagkakaroon ng panandaliang buhos ng ulan na dulot ng localized thunderstorm,” said Mendoza.
(In Visayas, there will be fair weather but there may still be isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.)
“Sa Mindanao, patuloy nating mararanasan ang mainit at maalinsangang panahon at pagdating ng hapon o gabi ay magkakaroon pa rin ng isolated thunderstorm,” he added.
(In Mindanao, there will be hot and humid weather, and in the afternoon or evening there could be isolated rainshowers due to thunderstorms.)

Baguio City: 17 to 25 degrees Celsius
Laoag City: 25 to 31 degrees Celsius
Tuguegarao: 25 to 34 degrees Celsius
Legazpi City: 25 to 33 degrees Celsius
Puerto Princesa City: 26 to 33 degrees Celsius
Iloilo City: 25 to 33 degrees Celsius
Cebu: 26 to 32 degrees Celsius
Tacloban City: 26 to 31 degrees Celsius
Cagayan De Oro City: 23 to 31 degrees Celsius
Zamboanga City: 24 to 33 degrees Celsius
Davao City: 25 to 33 degrees Celsius
