Quezon records 41st COVID-19 death
LUCENA CITY –– The deaths from coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Quezon province rose to 41 after another patient died in San Antonio town on Monday, authorities reported.
Records from the Integrated Provincial Health Office shows that the COVID-19 fatality was the second in San Antonio, which is located in the boundary of Quezon and Batangas provinces.
The authorities gave no added details on the latest victim.
Quezon, which reverted to modified general community quarantine status, has recorded 1,284 COVID-19 cases since early March.
The province logged 708 recoveries but still has 443 active virus carriers.
