Suspected drug pusher nabbed in Camarines Norte

LEGAZPI CITY –– An alleged high-value target (HVT) drug suspect was arrested Monday night by police anti-narcotics operatives in a drug sting in Daet town in Camarines Norte province, a police report said.

Jonathan Otto Matabang, 21, resident of Barangay Borabod, was caught selling shabu (crystal meth) at the compound of Jamaica Subdivision, Barangay Magang, around 10 p.m., Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said.

Seized from the suspect were 10 sachets of shabu and P500 marked money.

The suspect, who is in the drug watch list, is facing charges for illegal drug possession and trading.
