Police crawls into wrecked car to save 4-year-old girl stuck inside after crash
A policeman crawled into an overturned car to free a 4-year-old girl who was stuck inside after a collision in Ohio, United States.
The child’s mother Emma Jameson was trying to overtake a vehicle on her left last Saturday, Aug. 29 when the incident happened, as per Fox affiliate WJW on Aug. 31.
However, a car in front of Jameson also moved into the same lane, CBS affiliate WOIO reported. The other driver suddenly stepped on the brakes, which led Jameson to also step on hers.
This prompted Jameson to turn her steering wheel too fast, causing her car to roll off of the road.
Immediately after the crash, good Samaritans approached Jameson and her kids inside the car. She was apparently driving with her three children. Police arrived shortly after to help them out of the overturned vehicle.

Upon seeing this, officer Yamil Encarnacion immediately crawled inside the car. Bodycam footage showed Encarnacion cut the child’s safety seat to free the girl.
“Everything from there was just so fast,” Jameson stated. “I remember seeing the one officer carrying my daughter and the car seat and then he went back for my son and there was just blood all over his arms.”
Following the rescue, Jameson expressed her gratitude to Encarnacion and the other officers for saving them.
“Relieved, still scared to get behind the wheel of a vehicle, but very relieved and grateful that we’re all okay from that,” the mother told the news outlet. “People keep telling me that we shouldn’t have lived.”
Jameson also assured that she and her children only sustained minor injuries from the crash. Ryan Arcadio/JB
