2 aides of Zambo Sur town mayor wounded in gun attack

PAGADIAN CITY–Unidentified gunmen opened fire at a vehicle carrying Mayor James Yecyec of Pitogo town, Zamboanga del Sur province past 9 p.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 2), wounding two of the mayor’s aides, according to police.

Capt. Junar Yap, Pitogo police chief, said Yecyec was on the way home when the gun attack happened.
