At least 5 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Tagbilaran City
TAGBILARAN CITY –– At least five new cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were recorded here on Monday.
In a statement on Facebook, Tagbilaran City Mayor John Geesnell Yap II said the patients are locally stranded individuals (LSIs), an overseas Filipino worker (OFW), and two other residents.
The two LSIs—a 27-year-old female from Barangay Taloto and a 29-year-old female from Barangay Booy—arrived on Aug. 19 from Cagayan de Oro City and Cebu City, respectively.
The 43-year-old male OFW, on the other hand, arrived in Barangay Booy from Cebu on Aug. 19.
They, and the two other residents, are currently isolated.
Bohol province has recorded a total of 216 COVID-19 cases. At least 107 of them have recovered, while eight others died.
