Infant is latest COVID-19 patient in Quezon town
LUCENA CITY – A four-month old girl is among the latest coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in Quezon province, where over 1,000 residents have so far been infected, authorities reported Friday.
The local government of Dolores revealed on social media that the infant from Barangay Bagong Anyo, who tested positive on August 28, was exposed to a virus carrier in the same village — a 29-year-old woman who tested positive on August 24.
Authorities did not specify the relationship between the two patients.
Aside from the infant, an 11-year-old girl from Barangay Anyo also contracted COVID-19.
