CITY OF SAN FERNANDO –– At least 550 micro and small enterprises in Central Luzon have obtained P43.6 million in loans that the government-owned Small Business (SB) Corp. extended to those affected by the COVID-19.
A total of 112 entrepreneurs in Pampanga got loans worth P10.32 million, according to Judith Angeles, regional director of the Department of Trade and Industry.
SB Corp. approved 110 loans for P7.37 million in Nueva Ecija, 89 loans for P8 million in Bulacan, 64 loans for P4.1 million in Zambales, 63 loans for P3.61 million in Aurora, 60 loans for P6.4 million in Tarlac and 52 loans for P3.85 million in Bataan.
These are zero-interest loans payable in 12 to 24 months, Angeles said. INQ
