Albay village chief nabbed for allegedly harboring crime group member
LEGAZPI CITY –– A village chief who was arrested by police on Monday in Libon town in Albay province is facing charges for obstruction of justice for allegedly welcoming members of a notorious crime gang into his home, a report said Tuesday.
Arrested was Arturo Madronero, 55, the incumbent chief of Barangay Molosbolos, Police Captain Dexter Panganiban, Albay police spokesperson, said.
Police officers served the warrant of arrest against Madronero while the suspect was at Centro Poblacion, Barangay 7 around 10:30 a.m.
