Revilla still has pneumonia but feeling better, says wife Lani
MANILA, Philippines — Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla is still battling pneumonia but is now feeling better, his wife, Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla said Friday.
In a Facebook post, Lani shared a screenshot of her video call with her husband.
“Bumubuti ang lagay ng aking asawa. He still has pneumonia. He occasionally coughs when he talks and still needs to rest. Please continue to pray for him,” the mayor said.
“He still has to continue taking his meds and antibiotics. Thanks to all of his doctors and nurses. Tuloy pa rin ang laban natin,” she added.

Revilla announced that he contracted COVID-19 last August 9.

COVID-19 cases in the country have reached 182,365 after the Department of Health logged 4,786 new infections Friday.
