2 women drug pushers held in Lucena bust

LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested two known suspected drug pushers here, both females, on Thursday morning.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, reported that anti-narcotics agents collared Magdalena Valentin, 45, and Beatriz Habla, 43, after they sold P500 worth of shabu or crystal meth to undercover police in a drug deal in Barangay Ibabang Iyam at 8:10 a.m.

Authorities seized six plastic sachets of shabu from the suspects, who are both in the police list of street-level drug peddlers in the locality.

The suspects are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
