MANILA, Philippines — Police seized an estimated P136 million worth of shabu and arrested three drug suspects during a buy-bust operation in Pasig City Wednesday afternoon.
The Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) on Thursday identified the arrested suspects as Joel Narido, 39; Maria Teresa Concil, 35 and Ronald Solomon, 41.
The PDEG’s Special Operations Unit hatched the drug sting along Westbank Road in Barangay Maybunga at 7 p.m.
The operatives recovered the illegal drugs concealed in teabags.
The arrested suspects are under PDEG custody and will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
