Did You Know: 6,899 roads cleared of obstructions as of October 2019

According to the Department of the Interior and Local Government, a total of 6,899 roads from 1,246 local government units were cleared of all types of obstructions as of October 2019.

In the National Capital Region alone, 139,959 meters of roads and 52,831 meters of sidewalks were cleared of obstructions and illegal structures with the removal of 1,444 illegal vendors, 49 terminals (tricycle, jeepney, pedicab, etc.), 1,292 illegally parked vehicles, and 813 barriers as of September 2019.
