CABANATUAN CITY—Two policemen, a traffic aide and three health workers, all on the frontline of pandemic response in Nueva Ecija, were added to the province’s tally of COVID-19 cases, showing how coronavirus could be easily transmitted.

The two policemen, both of Jaen town, were a 32-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man. They are now on quarantine.

The provincial pandemic task force said the two could have been exposed to an infected policeman, a high-ranking officer, who was from Bongabon town but had a tour of duty in Jaen.
