DID YOU KNOW: 266 fire stations completed in 2019

According to the Department of the Interior and Local Government, 266 fire stations were completed in 2019, while 98 were scheduled to be built this year.

From January to October 2019, the Bureau of Fire Protection procured a total of 17,936 pairs of boots, 17,551 gloves, 7,873 trousers, 8,190 coats, 17,933 helmets, and 6,919 self-breathing apparatuses for its personnel. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
