20 patients, including family of 4, added to Cagayan Valley COVID-19 list

TUGUEGARAO CITY—The COVID-19 list of Cagayan Valley on Friday (Aug. 7) grew by 20 cases, including those of an entire family of four, according to authorities.

The family of four in Ilagan City had shown no symptoms but are on quarantine at home.

A 25-year-old man in Cabagan, Isabela; a 25-year-old overseas Filipino worker in Tuao, Cagayan; and a 26-year-old man in Enrile, Cagayan were also quarantined after getting infected with the virus.

Two Ramon town workers, aged 30 and 35, contracted the virus after they were exposed to two COVID-19 patients.

A 27-year-old woman in Gamu town also tested positive for the virus after suffering from cough and sore throat.

The new cases raised to 417 the COVID-19 tally in the region.
