MANILA, Philippines — P80-million worth of smuggled cigarettes and fake N95 masks have been seized by the Bureau of Customs.

In a statement on Thursday, the BOC said it raided a warehouse in Marilao, Bulacan, which resulted in the confiscation of the smuggled cigarettes and masks.

Authorities seized 1,000 cases of smuggled cigarettes and 648 fake N95 masks which copied designs and logos of famous luxury fashion brands.

The seized items have been transported to the BOC’s Enforcement and Security Services office in Port Area, Manila, the agency said.
