What’s next?: Cow roams Iloilo highway after ostrich, pig steal road scene

MANILA, Philippines — After an ostrich ran like a galloping horse along the streets of a subdivision in Quezon City and a pig wandered on a Cebu City flyover, another farm animal snatched the attention of motorists on the road – and eventually, spectators on the internet.

A netizen captured on Wednesday a cow roaming a busy highway in Iloilo City.

According to a video posted by Facebook user Bep Chavez, the cow was taking a stroll along Iloilo’s Diversion road around 3:00 p.m.  The cow did not destroy anything, but nonetheless took motorists by surprise.

“Yesterday: OSTRICH.  Today: COW.  Tomorrow: ???????  2020, please give us a break!” Chavez said in his post.

On Tuesday, an ostrich became the butt of jokes and the subject of memes after it was caught on video running — seemingly chasing a car — inside Mapayapa Village 3 in Quezon City.

Then in Cebu, a pig that bolted from its pen disrupted traffic flow early Wednesday morning.
