Comelec suspends issuance of voters’ certificates

MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is suspending the issuance of local and overseas voters’ certificates at its main office in Intramuros.

In an advisory, the Comelec said the main office, as well as the offices of the regional election director of the National Capital Region, Calabarzon and Mimaropa will be closed to the public from Aug. 3 to 16 for disinfection and decontamination.
