LA TRINIDAD, Benguet –– Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Cordillera and local police arrested an alleged drug den operator and his three patrons during a raid here on Monday.
Investigation showed that suspect Ericson Baldos was reportedly using a billiard hall and karaoke bar in the drug trade.
His companions, who were caught during the raid, were identified as Regan Nabe, Brenson Damoslog, and Myrick Olsim.
Police also seized six small sachets of “shabu” (crystal meth) found inside a karaoke machine.
The fifth suspect, Evalson Cadangen, who was also the subject of the search warrant issued by a Benguet court, was not found in the area.
Gil Cesario Castro, PDEA-Cordillera regional director, said the drug den has been under surveillance since last week.
Baldos and Cadangen have been operating the drug den for at least a year now, according to the PDEA.
