MANILA, Philippines — Manila Auxiliary Bishop Broderick Pabillo is now free of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
This was announced by Fr. Fr. Carmelo Jek Arada, as he read Pabillo’s written homily during Mass held at the Our Lady of Peñafrancia Parish Church on Sunday.
Pabillo said he tested negative for the coronavirus based on the results of his second swab test.
(I am very thankful for your prayers for me. I do not feel any symptoms. And by the mercy of God, I am now COVID-19 free according to the second swab test taken this week.)
Pabillo announced on July 23 that he tested positive for COVID-19.
