Bradford UCCP wins in FCABL match
THE BRADFORD UCCP hung on for a 66-60 victory over the Praise Cathedral to kickstart their campaign in the 2012 Fellowship of Christian Athletes Basketball League last Tuesday at the old Sacred Heart School basketball courts in Mango Avenue.
Former University of the Visayas hotshot Randy dela Pisa led UCCP with 24 points as they survived the second half onslaught by PC led by former Asian College of Technology big man Karl Valencia, who led them with 13 points.
In other games in the 34-below division, the Zealots defeated the Word International Ministries, 56-43 while the Bible Baptist Church demolished the Blessed Hope 2, 84-37.
In the 35-above class, the Couples Ministry of the Living Word got past Cebu Bethel Temple, 68-53.
